Dangers of Workplace Bullying

There are rules and laws in place to protect people at work from things like sexual harassment and discrimination. But there are no laws against bullying, and some say that needs to change.

We often associate the word bullying with children, and hope those bullies will eventually grow up and act like adults. The problem is adults can be bullies too.

We posted a question on News 3’s Facebook page, asking if anyone has had a problem with workplace bullying. More than 100 comments followed. Viewers complained about mean co-workers and unfair treatment. For some people the bullying was so bad, they say they developed anxiety, panic attacks, and eventually quit.
